Ebworth Park will again host the Mean and Dirty crew - in association with Slam 69 Bikes - for round 4 of the 'Mad Dash in the Park Winter XC series', bringing the curtain down on what has been not only a successful winter season but also their first full winter XC MTB series.
We grabbed a few quick words from Graham, 1/3 of Mean and Dirty, to find out how their first Winter series has panned out...
"Despite a somewhat damper winter than normal we have been extremely please with the turnout". He then went on to say, "It seems there is a big demand for local events as each of the rounds have been fully booked up".
And it's not hard to see why. With a broad range of categories, including senior, U8's, U12's, U16's and even a Fat Bike option, Mean and Dirty events have you covered... And just check out this twisty little playground they have!
Having a good set of venues can take one of the (many) headaches out of organising a successful event, and Graham is quick to acknowledge the great help Mean and Dirty events have had form the powers that be, saying "We must say Matt and the guys from the National trust have been brilliant, its great to see such an organisation taking this sort of thing under their wing. Without such venues sports and the people who take part just don't get the opportunity to achieve things".
