... But be quick! It's bound to be another sell out edition of this popular off-road Sportive!

The Quantock Quake is a Mountain Biking sportive of 20 or 35 miles, held in the Beautiful Quantock Hills AONB in Somerset, South West England. The Quake was started 4 years ago by Dan Brice and Dave Jackson as a way of raising money for two local charities – Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance and Exmoor Search & Rescue – and to put something back into the sport they love.

Whether you choose the 20 or 35 mile route you will be able to access areas of the Quantocks usually restricted. You’ll also see some of the greatest views of the Quantocks and be fully supported by our friendly Quantock Quake event team. The route comprises a 20 mile route with an optional 15 mile extension. The route will be available on the day and a GPX file will be released the day before.

The Quantock Quake is not a race but you will be given a start time to record your own progress against. Enter by yourself or with your mates. Be Quick, the Quake has sold out for the last two years! The event provides free parking at the event village at Ramscombe, Over Stowey, Quantock Hills, TA5 1HN. There will also be a bike repair facility and catering by Little Van Rouge.

This year we are delighted to be operating under the umbrella of Channel Events – bringing even more knowledge, experience and friendly faces to the 2016 Quantock Quake. With Dan Brice coming to work for Channel he is still very much at the helm of this now established event in the Quantocks calendar.
