Sunday 19th June sees the return of the now well established Summer Monkey XC enduro.  Headline sponsored by Merida with additional support from locally based illumination wizards Four4th Lights, the races take place at the superb venue of Caesar’s Camp where sinuous singletrack through the trees combines with open heathland trails to provide great racing and spectacular views over Farnborough Airport.  It's a massively popular venue, with plenty of car parking space and great spectating points where supporters can access the course at multiple points. As well a cracking course and full facilities, racers can expect a large prize pool of winner and spot prizes.  As it’s Summer, there are additional categories for 6 hour Solo and Pairs riders’ plus Fat Bike and Single Speed riders are catered for in addition to the usual 4 hour and 2 hour options.

SM start 2015

Two new features for 2016 are a shorter 5-6 mile course which will add to spectator enjoyment and the added excitement of laps only counting if completed before the relevant category time has elapsed. There little more thrilling (and frightening) as chasing down the final descent in the closing minutes to make that extra lap count. Podiums and prize giving will be held very soon after the category riding time is up and as soon as the results have been confirmed.
