Next weekend (14th Dec) sees Round 2 of the Brass Monkey Series, headline sponsored by Merida supported by www.mulebar.co.uk www.four4th.co.uk with flash sponsor www.gorebikewear.co.uk
Round 2 is at Tunnel Hill, Pirbright, Surrey GU12 5RR an outstanding, popular venue especially chosen for its suitability for mountain bike enduro racing at this time of the year. We will, of course, be watching the weather closely, and the course next Sunday will be the best possible for the prevailing conditions.
Registration will again open earlier at 7.30 and the START TIMES are:
9.30 (finishing 11.30) All 2hr riders including Juniors (aged 14-17). Podium: about 12.30. Entry £22 (Juniors £15).
9.45 (finishing 1.45) All 4hr riders. Podium about 2.45. Entry £24.
10.00 (finishing 1.00) All 3hr Male Grand Vet riders. Podium about 2pm. Entry £23.
Round 3 will be on Sun 4th January at Porridge Pot Hill, Surrey ? just in time for you to ride off the excesses of the Christmas season ? pre-entry is also open now.
Each event has full facilities, including the popular warm air heated HQ marquee, and there will be trophies to be won at each round and also for the Series, plus lots of goodies to be won as spot prizes too. Full details are at www.meridabrassmonkeys.com
