The nearest postcode for Newnham Park is PL7 5BN.  Newnham Park Industrial estate is well signposted, and from there you will pick up the British Cycling signage to the event arena.

If you are travelling to the event from within Plymouth City, please be aware that there will be road closures on Sunday 19th April due to the Plymouth Half Marathon.  To find out which roads are closed click here.  Racers coming to the event from the A38 will not be affected by the closures

Parking/ Camping
There will be allocated parking and camping areas - please follow the event signage and park up/pitch up sensibly and with consideration for others.

Weekend camping is free for anyone competing or supporting a competitor.
There will be mains drinking water on site as well as toilets.
There are no showers, but the river runs alongside the camping area for anyone feeling brave (you enter at your own risk).

Food, drink and entertainment
We will have two local caterers cooking up healthy food over the weekend.  We don't like greasy burger vans, so we're giving you pizzas and home made burgers, casseroles, sandwiches and cakes courtesy of Kernow Forno and The Pickled Lemon Catering Co.

Beer tent
The Foxhound Inn will be on site running the bar.  They will be offering a local cider, Westcountry ales and the usual soft drinks, wine and spirits.

We will have live music in the arena on Friday and Saturday evenings until 10pm.

Sponsors / tech support
Our podium prizes have been kindly donated by Torq, Schwalbe and XCRacer, and you will be able to visit their trade stands in the arena for all your energy, tyre and general kit needs.

Plymouth based mechanic Cycle Works will also be on hand to provide neutral tech support for those last minute unexpected bike hiccups.

Under 12s activities
As well as the under 12s racing on Saturday evening, There will be a coaching session run by Pilgrim Flyers coaches in the arena from 1000 - 1200.   This will be on a first come first served basis.

The Pilgrim Flyers skills area will then be open for under 12s to practice on for the rest of the weekend.  After the coaching session the area will be unsupervised, so parents need to take responsibility for their own children.  Helmets must be worn in the skills area at all times.

The coaching session and practice time is free, but if you would like to make a donation to the Pilgrim Flyers (Plymouth based youth only mtb club), there will be a donation pot available.

The Under 12s, 10s and 8s racing kicks off at 6pm on Saturday evening.
The course
We at Fully Sussed don't mess about when it comes to xc courses.  When you see a tripple down arrow on your practice lap, pay attention!  Our tripple down arrows are reserved for the sections of the course that are genuinely difficult to ride.  There will always be alternative lines around tripple arrow sections - look out for the divergent arrows warning you that the course splits.  Double down arrows and single down arrows will also be used to mark technical areas.  The more downward arrows, the more technical the section is.

Newnham Park is private land.  Please do not attempt to ride the course before race weekend.

We look forward to seeing you there,
